Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:12 (A review of Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm)

I'm so glad I found this artist, his music is completely superb. Playing this album all around the world would certainly be like peace. I've got a big crush on that new record. It's fabulously good, so easy-going and then still always full of naive melancholy. What could I ask for with such a soft and relaxing voice?

Suego Faults review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:09 (A review of Suego Faults)

The sonority from this band just blew my mind. Max, the producer conducts his album so perfectly, without committing any mistakes but the one of overwhelming your ears with so much melancholy which I quite adore. Wolf Gang is deeply passionate along with their melodies matching so well the lyrics.

Cinderella's Eyes review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:08 (A review of Cinderella's Eyes)

I think the album is quite brilliant. No criticisms from me, it feels like a very personal offering and Nicola's personality all over it, and Iโ€™m really glad it received acclaimed reviews by critics. Shall we not forget the lyrical genius of it all?

Siberia review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:07 (A review of Siberia)

Siberia is a huge step forward lyrically and emotionally. Lyrically, it feels much more poetic, and mature than her debut. Even though I prefer The Listening because of its sounds are more appealing to me like a dreamer and bubblepop thing .The progression she has made since The Listening is mind-blowing, it feels like a proper musical effort. Siberia is incredible. The Listening is incredible. I don't want the next album to be like The Listening. I don't want her to be confined to a certain mold of album making. Whatever gives her inspiration, I'm sure will create a phenomenal album. Perfection has a name, Lights.

A Creature I Don't Know review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:04 (A review of A Creature I Don't Know)

It takes a while to grow on you, but the new album is really remarkable. Almost as good as her first two or even better for myself once you lean to love it's bitterness. i love how lyrics express some kind of transition in her life .. from a child and sweet girl in love in Alas to a mature woman in this album. How can a 21 year old make an album that is beyond many others that have been making music for decades. she truly is a brilliant songwriter. In some years Laura will be considered one of the best singer songwriters ever to grace this planet.

Strange Mercy review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:03 (A review of Strange Mercy)

I find this one the more varied than the rest of her albums. Absolutely brilliant as always. We assume that there will be many people who find it hard to provide an opportunity for St. Vincent, that didn't agree with that kind of pop or because it dismay them the references to symphonic rock, but even they would recommend Strange Mercy because it is a clear demonstration of what Clark can do with talent unlike many others, trying to enlarge a style.

Biophilia review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:02 (A review of Biophilia)

So far I think her past works, had so much heart, soul and emotion, but Biophilia is like Bjรƒยถrk treating love as something rational and perfectly explained by nature. It's only natural that she, as a composer, has evolved from more earthly things, like love and passion, and is now interested in the bigger picture, the nature and the universe.

Portamento review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:01 (A review of Portamento)

They รขโ‚ฌหœve outdone themselves for sure in the new record. it's the sort of album that grows on you. You have to listen to it several times to actually get the album and It's definitely different from their first, however a worth listen. It feels really vulnerable and somehow in the mid of this when they try to pull off the edginess they crash. I can only hope that in the future The Drums will be able to make the transition into a new style with more fluidity and ease.

LET THEM TALK review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:01 (A review of LET THEM TALK)

What a terrific first album from an incredible man. Even though I'm not very into blue, I can totally argue that Hugh's album changed my point of view immediately. His voice suits the music so great, the way he plays the guitar and piano... He's such a unbelievable master. A real surprise from start to finish, some excellent arrangements of real blues Tunes.

Femme Fatale review

Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 7 July 2012 05:00 (A review of Femme Fatale)

In my opinion, Femme Fatale's strikes are innovative, Britney's voice is better and the record hasn't a bad song. The change in style for trance-pop may not please everyone, however it will please the majority. It will bring more fans to Miss. Spears. The album wasn't meant to be heard, but felt. Generally, although I face Femme Fatale as a weak album. I can't compare this work with no other from Britney. I think everything Britney has done so far is challenging. Britney knows how to pop, this is fact. The record didn't disappoint me in any aspect. As each and every album has its ups and downs. The singer proves once again that doesn't need to follow trend's music to be fashionable... she creates a different vision of pop music, which few or many, will be happy to savor every melody, production stage, choruses, bridges, etc... The album's name does justice to the content. Provocative and daring to the ears of fans and listeners.
