The Loved Ones review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:33 (A review of The Loved Ones)

Too bizarre. Its of kind that leaves a bad impression, a bitter taste, a disgusting human being and what it can do! I liked but i don't wanna see it never again. Besides that e recommend because it's one of the best of that genre that i've seen. In my opinion I think that's because the pilot is very original, direction and the perfect performances.

War, Inc. review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:31 (A review of War, Inc.)

If already wasn't enough to put up with the egocentric presence of John Cusack, the movie even brings a weird narrative that satirizes the war in Iraq by other ficticious. But Hilary's performance was good.

Almost Famous review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:31 (A review of Almost Famous)

A simple plot, but it gets very attractive inside the context of the rock and roll world, besides the soundtrack that is great, it's a essential movie to anyone fan of good music.

Road Kill review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:30 (A review of Road Kill)

The movie isn't those things great indeed. The movie's idea wasn't very explored, it could have done a better production. At the beginning it can be understood that can be a paranormal thing and at the end it's only a truck moved to blood. The performances didn't convince me and the film didn't pass fear, horror or even despair.

Mirrors 2 review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:30 (A review of Mirrors 2)

Pathetic is the term that most summarize this movie. Without any criativity, poor actors and weak acts. Even the first one is way superior at technique quality.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:29 (A review of Hachi: A Dog's Tale)

I never cried so much in a movie like this. When the movie finished, i was still crying of a big emotion, that i felt seeing the film. What amaze is Hachiko's face when he stays all day long a front to that station. That movie tells a story that thrill of seeing the dog's loyalty to his master, and that's it what i most admired in the movie. I found a mere characteristic, that convinced me which this film, can transfer a beautiful reality, in a way which make us cry, with the beauty of the history that them passed. The most heartwarming and yet the most heart wrencking movie, can't recall any film have such emotional impact on me. I still keep thinking about the story and every time when I think about it, I felt sad and so sorry for both the Prof and the dog, I am sure this is a film I won't forget... the soundtrack is another praise.., definitely a classic for Richard Gere... Although the movie centered on the bond/love between Hachi and his human parent, this is also a story about love between spouse, love between friends, father-daughter love and most of all, a close knit community of people with a big heart... My favourite scene is where Mrs Wilson come back to town after 10 years and found Hachi still waiting, so touching I can't control my tears... the closing scene is just devastating, Hachi died still dreaming of his master coming out of the train station.. This is a must see movie for every dog lovers. For human, dogs may just be a part of our life, but for the dog(s), we are everything they got. Again, Richard Gere is just superb and natural, so did Joan Allen. And lastly the dogs are so cute and adorable. A truly remarkable wait - 10 years... words failed to describe the amount of love, devotion and loyalty Hachi had for Parker...

The Last Song review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:27 (A review of The Last Song)

The movie it has a interesting story, but i expected more than that, it's a american romance like those basics clichés. Liked the act of Bobby Coleman, he did a good job, but Miley She needs to act normally and practise to get better, she looked so weird all the movie.

Knight and Day review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:27 (A review of Knight and Day)

Besides being just okay, it has a good charisma of the actors, but with a narrative with more action than brain. Thus it was far away from their potential. If they had invested in the screenplay like invested in special effects, the movie would have been more inexpensive and way better.

Obsessed review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:27 (A review of Obsessed)

Well, the movie has two amazing woman, Beyoncé and Ali Larter. Beyoncé's performance really surprised me and Ali's was good as always. I didn't think the movie is amazing, screenplay wasn't original, i already had seen many movies like this but I enjoyed a lot the fight at the end. It's a decent movie.

A Nightmare on Elm Street review

Posted : 12 years, 8 months ago on 30 August 2011 10:26 (A review of A Nightmare on Elm Street)

Freddy wasn't ever to scary that much, with exception of the first one, second and the seventh. So why people claim about this remake? The remake brought the original Freddy back, and yes it's a cliche movie but very good produced. This movie is far away to be perfect as the others, but i love the sarcastic Freddy, anyway this film was so criticized cuz is a remake. I waited so long to see this movie. The summary was right: they did re-imagine Freddy Krueger. I can see a big difference between Robert and Jackie as Freddy. Even though this was copying a ground-breaking movie and it excited me, there may have been problems. I understand that as a series goes on, things get boring and repetitive. Because this is a reboot, I found the new storyline a little complex at first. In both the original and the reboot, Freddy was bad from the start. Like the other slasher movies I've seen, I was disappointed that all the other supporting characters died. With today's technology for movies, everything looks more realistic. Much detail was put into Freddy's disfigured face. and beaten sweater. As for personality, Jackie made Freddy demonic. What didn't go away though, is Freddy's sense of amusement. I wouldn't say i liked for the gore. When I watched it alone, the suspense got me going. I knew my heart accelerated, thinking at any moment, he'll pop up. The very end told me Freddy was still out there, possibly in other forms. But I forced a laugh seeing him defeated. Every bit was just startling. For this movie, I liked how the suspense pumped me with adrenaline, making me feel alive, the make-up and detail, and the cast. I disliked the blood splattering and how the attacks can be torturing. The new Freddy Krueger is my kind of villain even though I'm not willing to own a copy. If you hate this Freddy, that's your problem.
